I’m hoping that this blog won’t go belly-up like my last one did. I set this up as mainly an artycrafty blog, but I think that my animals, family & smallholding may make appearances as they rule my life.
Anyway, something about me ~ I live on a mountain in Ireland now with my younger daughter & animals. I’ve been a musician, singer, dancer, librarian, cataloguer, pre-school “teacher” & I am still a mother. I have qualifications in TESOL & Forest School Skills as well as the preceeding. My elder daughter is at medical school in training as a doctor & is getting married shortly to a man who adores her & is willing to enter this mad family. I also have a son who is coming to the end of his schooling in England, is a far better artist than am I & has a wonderful way with animals. My son lives with a long-suffering friend of mine.
I’ve lived in London, Berkshire, Ceredigion, Guernsey & Somerset before Ireland, with brief sojourns in Krym & Russia, including living in a village with no running water.

My dear Lady,
You have no Idea how you have made my day. I was clicking from blog to blog, then I came across yours, I was fascinated, the animals, The farm, the country lifestyle, the hard yet simplistic qualities of it all. Breathtaking Charm. This was my early childhood as I passed through your pictures, so unlike my life today. I live in a quiet little town in New Jersey, Woodland Park is the name. 15 minute ride from New York city. All your wonderful words and photo’s yet there was something missing, this would be some Photo’s of the woman that created all of this. I am extremely pressed for time and have to run, But perhaps in the near future you would honor me with some polite conversation. You have not posted anything since April and it is my sincere hope that all is well for you and that your lapse is not do to any hardship. Best of wishes and have a great day!!

Thank you. I’m trying to post a photo a day, which means that I’m incredibly behind due to my snail-pace internet connection. Although April 19 is the most recently titled post, it was posted on June 1st & is still in progress. I have loads of photos yet to add ~ new life around here & my beautiful young giant Wolf who is growing in leaps & bounds. After my Irish Wolfhound was stolen, I was lucky to be allowed to give a home to a Royal Russian Wolfhound baby & will be boring everybody with baby Wolf & Gypsy Vanner foal pictures
